Sperre is a family-owned company, now with six shareholders from the third generation. The Sperre family has a 70-year compressor tradition. Starting-air compressors are the heart and soul of our business. 

We don’t get sidetracked by financial acrobatics. We focus on what we do best. We’re in the business for the long term. We have invested NOK 250 million in a new factory, machining equipment, and product development during the last six years. That’s the commitment it takes to maintain our position as the world leader in marine starting air for the next generations. The group’s equity ratio of 70% gives us the freedom of action to invest on this scale. 

At the same time we are continuously developing our casting and welding business. We regard this as an important factor in ensuring quality and precise delivery of critical components.
