Hitachi Medical Systems Singapore was incorporated in 1994 to take over the activities as a representative office of Hitachi Medical Corporation and to market Hitachi medical equipment in Asia. The company is represented by its distributors in South East Asia, SAARC and Middle East. Since July 1, 1999, the company has undertaken direct sales and service responsibility in Singapore.
