When we launched QAM in 1994, we created a new model for our industry, designed to help the semiconductor and bio/pharmaceutical industries to control costs and improve quality and efficiency. Previously, separate companies carried out the quality assurance (QAR) and quality control (QCR) functions for high-purity applications. In response to the industries' drive to improve efficiency, we founded QAM. We brought the third party QAR as well as the QCR services into a single provider. QAM combines both functions, contracting directly to facility owners and construction managers. Our concept has been embraced by the industry, thanks to cost savings and improved customer service.
