From our humble beginnings in June 1990 to the achievements of today, Tong Seng Produce Pte Ltd has definitely come a long way. We are proud to say that we have written our own success story. The success behind our flagship brand 'Songhe' lies in our keen focus on high quality of product and delivering exemplary customer service. 

Currently boasting a chain of over 2000 retail outlets island wide and a clientele base which consists of major supermarket chains, convenience stores, hotels and restaurants, 'Songhe' has become a household name that is synonymous with quality. Having stayed the course and remained unwavering towards our beliefs and guiding principles, Tong Seng Produce Pte Ltd has grown tremendously and diversified into related business beyond rice to include oil and sugar. Today, Tong Seng Produce Pte Ltd stands as one of the leading rice importer and distributor in Singapore and has, also, expanded trade overseas to include international customers in Malaysia, Taiwan, Brunei, Burma and Indonesia. 

In 2006, Tong Seng Produce Pte Ltd came together twice with the students and staff of National University of Singapore to set a different kind of record - one with a social cause. For each crane folded during both events, Tong Seng Produce Pte Ltd pledged to donate 50 cents, while 100g (one bowl) of rice would be donated to charity for every paper crane crane folded during the prelude of the actual events. A grand total of 20 000 bowls of rice and $10 000 in cash donations were given out, of which, The Singapore Autism Society and Singapore Red Cross were amongst the beneficiaries of these efforts.
